Smoothie Ideas

We LOVE smoothies and shakes!!!!  It is a delicious way to add more veggies to your diet!

*Note: I also have published some other smoothie recipes but did not copy them to this page, to view other SMOOTHIE RECIPE IDEAS, Click here.

Here are some ideas for you.  For some of these, I didn’t really do any measurements. I just take my fruits and veggies, then I throw them all into a blender.  I just wanted to share with you that I have found the combination of the different fruits and veggies to have delicious flavor.  I always try to incorporate super healthy foods in my family’s food and drink menu…6 to 9 servings of fruits and veggies a day! :)

You should also play around with the recipes….maybe you could add more nut milk or water to the recipe to make it less thick, add more agave or dates to sweeten it up a bit more, add more nuts (I usually use hemp) to make a shake/smoothie with a higher amount of protein….you get the idea.  :-)

Note: don’t forget to add a little ice!

This is my FAVORITE kitchen tool…..the VITAMIX!  My soups and smoothies are so much better!

This is the one that I have.
